Film composer / Scoring assistant
I spent thirteen years running IT for organizations that couldn't afford failure. Deadlines were requirements, not suggestions. I brought that with me into the studio when starting a production company in 2025 — a film composer and scoring assistant crafting storybound music for picture and games.
I'm based in Añasco, Puerto Rico — working from a sonic laboratory overlooking the rain forest and Caribbean coast.
Currently composing A Stick Sharpened at Both Ends — a collection of dialogues between orchestral players and a modular synthesist, after Lord of the Flies. Ongoing weekly mentorship with a working film composer.
A place for feedback loops
to live productive lives.
The studio is built around modular synth exploration, frictionless recording/sampling sessions, and orchestral mockup work. With a few experiments going on in the background at any given time, the blending of genres, techniques, and compositional approaches has proven to be a never-ending well of inspiration.
The modular systems are ever-evolving. Alongside them: a stable of axes, FX pedals, poly-synths, and a Weber tweed Bassman clone I built from a kit — for rock/pop production as well as sound design. Field recording kit for on-location work.
Before the studio work, there were bands. Those years shaped how I write — the live rooms, bad PAs, and the discipline of making every part serve the song instead of showing off. Played bass in Heretics and Heroes; played bass and wrote guitar for Strange Her. Both built around the same instinct that drives the studio work now: all the way or not at all.
